As a Development Engineer for Automotive Power Research and Technology you contribute your expertise and skills. You have the passion to develop new ideas and to bring them to implementation. Moreover, you collaborate beyond borders, appreciate the contribution of others and enjoy working in a start-up driven, intercultural environment.

In your new role you will:

• drive process integration topics for one of Infineon’s semiconductor MOSFET technologies within the ATV technology development group
• take over responsibility for new MOS process integration modules, develop new process sequences and drive improvement topics
• take leadership to analyze and solve complex technology problems to improve the front end technology by using methodical problem-solving techniques
• work hands on, support and cooperate closely with device engineering, unit process experts, as well as with various other colleagues along the technology development process
• prioritize activities and make effective decisions following a demanding project schedule
• be part of the ATV MOS technology development team working in joint projects in an international environment with different Infineon sites and external partners

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• a degree (Master/Diploma or PhD) in Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, Material Science or any similar Microelectronic related field with focus on semiconductor technology
• a good knowledge of semiconductor technology and minimum 3 years work experience in semiconductor research or industry, interactions within the Frontend and Backend of Line would be a plus
• the ability to drive technical decisions and execute the implementation
• proven your ability to solve problems involving expert networks, react flexibly to new requirements and are able to prioritize topics
• a good understanding of your own impacts and interdependencies in own domain of expertise
• entrepreneurial thinking, give customers a high priority and set high quality standards for yourself and your work results
• enthusiasm about exploring new ideas, considering alternatives and actively managing risks
• very good interpersonal and effective communication and presentation skills across all hierarchical levels
• very good German and English language skills
