The RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join The Agile Monkeys for a temporary period while one of our core team members is on paternity leave. You’ll be working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our clients’ cloud platforms.You’ll help maintain and evolve high-traffic cloud applications hosted on AWS and Azure, manage Kubernetes clusters, and improve our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure automation. This is a great opportunity for a proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving, ownership, and continuous learning. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure in AWS (ECS, ELB, EC2) and Azure (Compute, AKS, Load Balancers, etc).Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth deployments and scalability.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible.Ensure infrastructure security, resilience, and cost efficiency.Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to streamline deployment and release processes.Contribute to improving our internal DevOps practices, automation, and documentation. RequirementsMust-Have Skills:Proven experience managing infrastructure in AWS (ECS, EC2, ELB, S3, etc.).Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).Some experience with Linux like systemd configurations and bash scripting.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana).Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.Excellent communication skills in English. Nice-to-Have:Familiarity with multi-cloud environments.Prior experience in high-availability production systems.Interest in automation and developer experience improvements.
