Director Accounting (m/f/d)

Work with our Executive Team to refine and optimize our accounting processes and policies.In addition, be responsible for budgets and the financial plan.

Your tasks:

• Work with Executive Team to refine and optimize accounting framework.
• Responsibility for proper accounting records and preparation of financial reports.
• Payment transaction management and accounting software.
• Work closely with management, other departments, and external stakeholders such as tax advisors and tax offices.
• Continuous further development of the department in the direction of digitalization.
• Responsibility for tax compliance.
• Budget management and financial planning.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.

Your experience:

• Completed college degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
• At least 4 years of professional accounting experience and experience in a management position.
• Experience in the use of DATEV (FIBU), EasyBill and the common MS Office programs.
• Structured, independent and autonomous work style combined with reliability, high diligence, flexibility, strong organizational and communication skills, assertiveness and quick comprehension.
• Entrepreneurial drive, willingness to take responsibility.
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and oral English.
• Knowledge of German tax law.
