We are on the lookout for a Director, Commercial Strategy to join the Quick Commerce Local Shops team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. Be part of redefining how customers experience quick commerce. You’ll help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth. By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team, you’ll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products, helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional leadership to foster strategic partnerships with major retailers (e.g. Carrefour, Lulu, Rewe Group) across the globe and enable Delivery Hero’s next growth engine
  • Drive the acceleration plan for Health and Beauty categories by defining the strategic pillars for sustainable growth and expansion at global level, including product development roadmap, assortment & promotion game plan and marketing strategy
  • Lead Beauty Global Partnerships onboarding strategy design and execution as part of the acceleration plan for Beauty across the globe
  • Assess and prioritize business opportunities (e.g. subscriptions, new verticals) and develop commercial best practices for account managers and partners across 70+ markets
  • Conceptualize and track success metrics for our commercial offering across growth stages and propel commercial performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and roll out product and data science solutions to support regional, country teams and partners
  • Set and own OKR achievement with leadership at HQ and regional levels, with regular business and project updates

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience (not counting internships), with 1-2 years leading a team from a regional role
  • Curious mindset with ability to learn across businesses globally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including C-Level executives
  • Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical mindset; experience partnering with global leaders (e.g. L’Oréal, Sephora) and navigating complex organizations
  • Hands-on mentality with excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, energetic, independent in handling business challenges, with humility and openness to learning
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or retail
  • Experience in management consulting or strategic/project management roles
  • Experience or interest in Beauty and/or Personal Care industries
  • Experience with Salesforce and strategic B2B account management
