Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee the performance, safety, and customer experience of our data center operations across Germany. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, leading high‑performing teams, and ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple data center sites, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction
• Drive strategic planning and execution across capacity, performance, and availability
• Oversee incident response, change management, and business continuity planning
• Ensure compliance with ISO, PCI‑DSS, SOC, and other regulatory standards
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in design, construction, and operations

Financial & Capacity Management

• Define and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets
• Track and optimize resource utilization, productivity, and cost efficiency
• Ensure accurate power and cooling capacity management across all sites

Customer & Project Delivery

• Lead customer implementation and project management, pre‑ and post‑sales
• Champion a customer‑first culture, driving continuous improvement in service delivery

People & Culture

• Lead and develop a team of managers and frontline staff across multiple locations
• Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and high performance
• Act as a regional voice in global forums, contributing to innovation and best practices

Qualifications

Experience

• Proven leadership in data center or critical infrastructure operations (Leadership of managers)
• Strong track record in managing complex, multi‑site environments
• Experience in transformation and scaling operations in a matrixed organization

• Fluent in English; German language skills or willingness to learn are essential
