    ABOUT ACF AND THIS ROLE
ACF supports and advocates for individuals and groups creating music today by demonstrating the vitality and relevance of their art. We empower artists through funding and resources and advocate for the meaningful impact living music creators have in the context of our world today. ACF engages a composer-centric community of artists, programmers, presenters, teachers, funders, and audiences, and provides resources, creative models, and advocacy to cultivate equitable opportunities for living composers to share their art and their stories.

Our commitment to being an anti-racist organization guides us and our work. The ACF board and staff engage in continued intentional learning about practicing principles of anti-racism, and we support an ecosystem that is equitable as well as inclusive. To this end, we strive to build a community with anti-racism at the center. We seek to attract candidates with similar priorities and strongly encourage individuals who hold these values to apply.

The responsibilities of the Director of Development and Operations require a weekly presence in our downtown Saint Paul offices. A modest reimbursement stipend for moving expenses will be provided to a successful candidate who does not currently reside in Minnesota or the Twin Cities metro area.
