Director of Plant Management

About our Client:
World leading producer of flavors for the Food and Beverage Industry.

Your tasks:

You will have overall responsibility for plant management, taking into account the operational KPIs, as well as the technical and disciplinary management of the division with over 100 employees.
You will ensure occupational and process safety, health and environmental protection, technical documentation and training in cooperation with the EHS department
You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as corporate rules and strategies
You will be responsible for departmental budgets and project management
You will be responsible for optimizing production capacities and processes in terms of production costs/overhead costs in order to achieve the desired company goals
You will establish a culture of continuous improvement in which innovation and new ideas are actively promoted and implemented
You will coordinate with other organizational units (e.g. Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Finance)
You will have the opportunity to develop into Head of Operations.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in chemical engineering (Bachelor's/Master's)
You have at least 5 years of management and professional experience in a comparable position in a food-producing company
You are fluent in German and English
You are familiar with standard software such as MS Office and SAP and have very good knowledge of HACCP and GMP
You have an empathetic and social leadership style as well as the ability to work cooperatively and effectively throughout the company, while at the same time having a high degree of communication skills and assertiveness
You are characterized by excellent strategic thinking and decisiveness
Your interest in change processes and in the implementation of new ideas rounds off your profile
