Established in 2006, our data centre team has been at the forefront of mission-critical design and engineering services. Collaborating with clients worldwide, we have delivered over 2,000 MW of data centre capacity. Our primary objective is to design the world’s most energy-efficient, low-emission, and socially responsible data centres, leveraging engineering excellence. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with clients to achieve high levels of engineering resilience and excellence. We were named Data Centre Review’s ‘Data Centre Consultancy of the Year’ in 2025.
Cundall established our Frankfurt office in 2024 to manage secured hyperscale projects in Germany. In 2025, we are looking to recruit an experienced leader to help establish and grow our German office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, client-focused building services leader with electrical or mechanical expertise. You will be responsible for establishing our data centre team in Frankfurt and expanding our data centre sector in Germany.
You will oversee the daily operations of the German office, initially focusing on developing a mechanical and electrical data centre team, with plans to grow into a fully multidisciplinary consulting team. You will receive support from our European data centre team and operate as an integrated leader within this sector.
You will nurture existing client relationships to deliver secured workload in Germany. This role offers the opportunity to establish, grow, manage, motivate, and lead our team in Frankfurt.
If you are an Associate seeking to step into a leadership role with your technical experience, this is an excellent opportunity. Data centre experience is preferred but not essential, as our European team will provide technical support to meet project needs.

A Chartered Engineer and ‘Ingenieur’ with the German Council of Engineers, educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or an equivalent discipline. Fluency in English (spoken and written) and strong communication skills are required.
You should have significant experience in a consulting engineering role within your field. While data centre experience is preferred, it is not essential. You should have demonstrated experience in leading and growing teams managing multidisciplinary projects with a client-focused approach.
