ECM Solution Architect (f/m/d)

Overview

ECM Solution Architect (f/m/d) role at TieTalent. Location: Munich.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture for ECM platforms (e.g. OpenText, SharePoint, Doxis, Hyland).
• Design end-to-end document and records management solutions, including metadata models, permission structures, and retention strategies.
• Ensure integration with core systems (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, CRM, ERP) via APIs or connectors.
• Evaluate and select technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Provide architectural guidance to project teams and review solution designs.
• Lead governance on ECM principles, lifecycle management, compliance (e.g. GDPR), and auditability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in ECM/DMS environments.
• In-depth knowledge of ECM technologies and frameworks (e.g. OpenText, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, Doxis).
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration, identity and access control, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
• Experience with metadata models, workflow automation, archiving, and records management.
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
