We are looking for an EHS Manager (m/w/d) for our client in Rheingau. The ideal candidate has knowledge in environmental protection, health protection, and occupational safety.

Responsibilities

• Creation of workplace and hazard assessments
• Consulting and procurement of technical work equipment
• Introduction of work procedures and substances
• Inspection of operational facilities and technical work equipment
• Coordination and cooperation with authorities
• Consulting the management in EHS topics as well as responsible leaders and employees in the areas of environmental protection, health protection, and occupational safety
• Planning, coordination, and review of hazard assessments, emergency regulations, and procedures
• Evaluation of the danger potential and development of suitable solution proposals
• Review of the implementation of necessary measures for occupational safety and accident prevention
• Participation in training and instruction in EHS areas

Requirements

• Completed business studies or a degree as a technician or master in environmental technology/safety technology
• Certified specialist for occupational safety according to 6 ASiG
• Several years of professional experience in occupational safety and environmental protection
• Good knowledge of German laws regarding health, (occupational) safety, and environment
• Fluent German language skills in word and writing and good English language skills
• Confident handling of the MS Office package
• Persuasiveness and conflict resolution skills
• Independent working method
• Teamwork skills
