About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of high-voltage and high-current test systems used worldwide in the energy sector.

The role involves designing complex systems for testing power cables, transformers, and other critical power transmission equipment — supporting the global drive toward a sustainable and reliable energy supply.

Required Skills

Degree or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in the design and development of technical systems, ideally within the energy or power sector.
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Strong communication skills in both German and English.
Analytical, systematic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Design individual components, assemblies, and complete systems with both technical and cost efficiency in mind.
Produce detailed drawings and data sets, coordinate with internal teams, and approve designs following review.
Provide technical support to the procurement team during supplier selection and contract awards.
Contribute to the development of high-voltage test and power electronic systems from a design perspective.
Develop innovative concepts for high-voltage applications in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Assess external design outputs for quality, feasibility, and compliance with specifications.
Manage and coordinate small-scale projects, including mechanical and electrical designs and calculations.
