Freelance Electrical Engineer – Steel Manufacturing - Bayern

I am currently working with a major steel production company who are looking for a contract electrical engineer with extensive experience working with PLC, SCADA and industrial networks.

My client is a leading steel manufacturer with advanced automated production facilities. Experienced electrical engineers can take ownership of complex systems to optimise and enhance process automation. This role offers the opportunity to lead control system projects and further develop expertise in cutting-edge industrial operations.

Details:

• Location: Bayern
• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: €80 - 90 p/h
• Start: ASAP

To be considered for this opening, you must have the following experience:

Required Skills:

• PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi)
• SCADA/HMI systems for process monitoring
• Industrial networks (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus)
• Motor and drive control, including VFDs
• Process control and automation optimization

Desired Skills:

• Experience with predictive maintenance and equipment condition monitoring
• Familiarity with industrial robotics for material handling or automation
