Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their remote team supporting the certification and compliance of wind turbines electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting and applying national and international electrical standards, coordinating with certifiers and ensuring conformity across multiple markets. The successful candidate will play a vital role in improving turbine performance, supporting international teams, and driving forward the future of sustainable energy.

Contract Details:

• Contract: Permanent
• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: Circa €90,000
• Job type: Hybrid

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably Energy Technology)
• Experience in wind energy, energy supply, or grid integration
• Strong knowledge of Fault Ride-Through (FRT) testing, power quality, and medium-voltage systems
• Proficiency with measurement tools (e.g., FAMOS)
• Strong German & English communication skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 50% in Northern Germany) will be around 1x per month

Desirable Requirements:

• Familiarity with IEC 61400-21-1 / FGW TR3 standards
• Hands-on experience with medium-voltage switchgear and systems
• Practical experience in prototype validation and field testing
