Electrical Engineer – LV & MV Systems for TP Outfitting

Join a major offshore wind developer based in Germany to design and specify LV/MV electrical systems for TP outfitting.

Responsibilities

• Design and specification of LV/MV electrical systems for TP outfitting, including lighting, earthing, cable routing, and auxiliary systems.
• Interface with structural, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and supplier deliverables.
• Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Oversee installation and commissioning activities onshore and offshore.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, DIN, VDE) and offshore wind industry best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure electrical safety throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and certification bodies to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in LV/MV electrical engineering in offshore wind.
• Strong understanding of TP outfitting requirements and offshore foundation design.
• Familiarity with German regulations and offshore wind standards.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required.
