Join us at Deutsche Bahn as an Elektroniker:in / (Kfz-) Mechatroniker:in responsible for maintaining the rail network.

We are looking for motivated individuals for over 500 different roles across Germany, including experienced professionals and career starters. We offer various entry and training opportunities.

Starting as soon as possible, you will work at the Munich location for DB InfraGO AG. Initially, you will undergo training as a specialist in signaling and safety technology, overhead line, or energy systems. You will progress through multiple development steps towards roles such as signal mechanic, switch mechanic, or overhead line technician. We also support your path to becoming a master.

Your Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and service various systems in the railway operational area, such as level crossings, signals, overhead lines, or lighting systems, together with your colleagues.
• Your work area is local to your residence.
• Participate in on-call duty to quickly and reliably resolve disruptions, helping us make the railway more punctual for everyone.
• Your daily work includes indoor and outdoor tasks, working with both analog and digital technology.
• Your work begins and ends at your central base, where you collect materials, tools, measuring instruments, and your vehicle.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed vocational training in a technical field as an electrician, (auto) mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or a comparable profession.
• You are committed to undergoing internal training programs.
• You enjoy working in a team and are resilient to weather conditions.
• Occasional planned night shifts, weekend work, and on-call duties are not an issue for you.
• You are flexible, proactive, and eager to learn.
• You hold a Class B driver's license.
