Based in the engineering hub of South West Germany, an innovative and expanding company are offering an Embedded Developer with Functional Safety (FuSa) experience role.

This company develops world-leading process automation and factory automation products, positioning themselves as a market leader. They require an Embedded Developer to utilize specialist skills to support new projects, coordinate a team, and drive progression of the company.

Responsibilities

• Full development life cycle of Embedded System Design, particularly bare-metal development
• Development of cutting-edge solutions in the field of Process Automation, directly with customers
• Conception of SW/HW architecture, test planning, and system validation
• Creation of requirements, and support internal development engineers in prototyping

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 2 years experience in Embedded Software Architecture
• 5 years experience as an Embedded Developer, with a focus on bare-metal programming
• Excellent working knowledge of functional safety as per IEC 61508 and IEC 62061/ISO 13849
• Experience using STM32 and ARM microcontrollers
• Fluency in German & English
