Embedded Software Engineer

I'm supporting an innovative tech company known for its long-standing success across global markets to strengthen their embedded systems division, they’re looking for a skilled developer to contribute to software design for real-time microcontroller applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop low-level firmware for 32-bit embedded systems using ANSI C.
Design and implement software modules within real-time operating environments (RTOS).
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across hardware, testing, production, and systems engineering.
Take part in defining system-level software architecture and own development of assigned components.
Participate in structured code reviews and assist with integration and verification testing.
Liaise with technology partners across international locations for project coordination and alignment.

Your Background:

Degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent field.
Hands-on experience in embedded software development using C (and optionally C++).
Familiarity with real-time operating systems and microcontroller platforms.
Advantageous: experience working directly on board-level or MCU-based designs.
Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and a structured approach to tasks.
Confident in German and able to communicate effectively in English.
