Embedded Software Functional Safety Expert (f/m/div)*:

In your role as Embedded Software Functional Safety Expert (f/m/div)*, you will be responsible for functional safety in our development projects:

• You will create and maintain the necessary documentation, from safety plans to safety cases
• You will develop SEooC (Safety Element out of Context) software components inclosecooperation with our teams
• You will actively participate in the development of system and software architecture
• You will play an active role in the development of the system and software architecture
• You will act as the central point of contact for safety issues within ourdevelopmentdepartment
• You will conduct internal and external training on standards and processes
• You will support project management in effort estimation andrisk assessment
• You will actively represent your role as an expert externally, thereby helping to strengthen Hitex's positionin functional safety in the embedded world.

Do you identify challenges or potential obstacles early on and see them as opportunities to drive improvements? Then you are the perfect fit for us!

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Completed degree in engineering (computer science,
  information technology, or similar) or comparable training
• At least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on functional safetymanagement for embedded software
• In-depth experience with a standard in the field of functional safety (e.g., ISO26262 or IEC 61508)
• Experience in the creation of embedded safety software
• Experiencewith TriCore and/or ARM architectures desirable
• Very good German and English skills
