We seek your expertise to support the development of Energy Portfolio Management at Encavis AG.

Your sunny outlook:

Building a position reporting system and revenue tracking
Enhancing existing software projects with IT partners for portfolio digitization

Hedging strategy:

Developing new hedging strategies using stochastic models and backtesting
Monitoring short-term hedging strategies
Following market price developments and fundamental drivers

Risk assessments:

Quantifying market, portfolio, and delivery risks for PPA structures
Developing PPA pricing models
Evaluating financial hedging instruments like options and battery tollings

Qualifications:

Degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics, or related fields
Passion for renewables and energy transition; >1 year practical experience preferred
Data manipulation skills with SQL, R, Python; data visualization with Power BI, ggplot2, etc.
Experience in renewables revenue reporting and risk modeling
Strong team player with good communication in German and English
