    What you can expect
    To strengthen our team at the Stutensee site (Karlsruhe area), we are looking for a
    Engineer for Robotic Applications (all genders welcome)
    as of 1 January 2026.

    Together with a small interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the rapid implementation of customer-specific product developments. These are mainly self-propelled (robotics) as well as "free-floating" inspection equipment for oil, gas and hydrogen pipelines.

    RESPONSIBILTIES:
    • Development on different components and prototypes for the ROSEN Robotics toolbox
    • Development of creative mobile robotic solutions to challenging requirements in pipeline inspection domain
    • Exploration of various hardware technologies and adaptation of existing as well as development of new components
    • Interdisciplinary work with ROSEN experts in sensors and actors, electronical and mechanical designs as well as the operational business
    • Support of the operational business in rolling out new products and services

    What you will bring

    • Degree or doctorate in robotics, mechanical / electrical engineering, or a similar field of study
    • Practical experience with robotics or autonomous systems
    • Enthusiasm for the design and development of electronic systems as well as a strong hands-on mentality
    • High ability to work under pressure, good communication skills and proactive behavior for a solution-oriented way of working
    • Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken), knowledge of the German language is a plus
