We’re on the lookout for Engineering Managers to join our Engineering team at our office in Berlin. Join us in building the largest AI enabled fintech for healthcare!

You’ll have the opportunity to lead either our Checkout or Patient Relationship Management team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of highly skilled engineers and ensuring your team delivers outstanding results in both technology and business outcomes.

Joining us, you will

Lead, inspire and grow a high-performing team of 3–6 software engineers.
Collaborate with the product manager to define the roadmap and priorities for your team, while coordinating with dependencies across the company.
Take ownership of the quality and security of the software within your team and drive initiatives to continuously improve it.
Your responsibilities will roughly be divided as follows: 40% delivery, 30% people management, and 30% hands-on technical work.
Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Nelly’s engineering leadership team.
Be part of the recruitment pipeline.

What you’ll bring

2+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years of overall experience in the industry.
A strong technical background with hands-on experience in building SaaS products.
Experience working with the TypeScript ecosystem and public cloud providers (either AWS, Azure or GCP).
A deep understanding of software development processes and the ability to set up a team for success.
Empathy and excellent communication skills.
Experience at developing, mentoring and growing a high performing team.
