Location: Hamburg, Germany (remote‑first setup possible)
Start: Immediately | Level: Team Lead | Working hours: Full‑time (40 hrs/week)

The Quality Group is a high‑performance company in the fitness nutrition industry, driving innovation in wholesale commerce. As part of the B2B team you will own the B2B shop and EDI platform, delivering scalable, event‑driven services on AWS.

Your Mission

• Lead a dynamic team of engineers that owns our B2B shop and EDI platform.
• Drive people development, delivery excellence and architectural evolution toward scalable, secure, maintainable systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Development: Inspire a positive, collaborative culture and provide ongoing motivation.
• Performance & Delivery: Establish clear metrics, evaluate team performance, give constructive feedback and recognise high performers.
• Architecture & Technical Direction: Guide the ecosystem toward event‑driven, cloud‑native patterns on AWS.
• Cross‑Functional Integration: Work with other departments to align engineering efforts with company goals.
• Innovation & Risk Management: Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage technical risk while scaling the team.
• Technology & Quality Assurance: Align technology strategy with business objectives and collaborate with Platform, Security and QA teams to uphold quality standards.

Your Experience & Skills

• Proven engineering management (3+ years) in an agile, product‑driven environment.
• Strong background in software engineering (PHP/Symfony preferred) and cloud‑native/event‑driven AWS architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and a track record of managing complex engineering projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to align diverse stakeholders and empower senior engineers.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Interest in B2B commerce, integrations and process automation.
