Your future team

Guest Experience department – a dynamic group focused on enhancing the search experience. You’ll lead a cross‑functional team consisting of frontend & backend engineers, a project manager, and a QA engineer.

• You’ll be part of the Discovery team responsible for designing and maintaining the list page of our website, ensuring users find the best vacation rental from our search results.
• Your contributions will create a seamless and joyful journey for travellers, boosting conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
• You’ll work closely with the Ranking, Conqueror, and Marketing teams overseeing machine learning models, booking systems, and marketing efforts.
• Frontend: Typescript, NodeJS, Kubernetes, ReactJS, Zustand, TailwindCSS on the client and Express on the server.
• Infrastructure: Microservices on AWS EKS.
• Data Management: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch 7, Redshift.
• DevOps: AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Git, Terraform.
• Monitoring & Analytics: ELK, Grafana, Looker, Opsgenie.

Your role in this journey

• Lead a high‑performing cross‑functional team focused on product innovation, infrastructure reliability, delivery speed, quality, engineering culture, and team growth.
• Ensure highly scalable and available applications handling up to 1 million unique users per day.
• Mentor and recruit exceptional engineers, fostering an inclusive culture.
• Collaborate with product management and design to define goals and roadmap.
• Drive strategic technology decisions and project ownership.
• Execute impactful features with 40‑50% individual contributor time focused on feature implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building backend services and/or frontend applications.
• Experience leading technical teams (architecture, planning, code reviews).
• Proven people management with a focus on respect, empathy, and learning.
