Enterprise Architect

Job Description

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures. This role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining Command architectures and views, such as OV-1 and SV-1, and graphically documenting all architectures and topologies according to CCMD-directed frameworks. The architect will develop reference and objective architectures for CCMD networks and maintain these products in designated command repositories. The successful candidate will conduct enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation to guide the command through necessary business, information, process, and technology changes. The role requires applying Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles to document, model, and validate complex system architectures using tools like Cameo MagicDraw and languages like SysML. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly, work in a dynamic team environment, and interface with both client managers and system users.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain user-related security.
• Apply security patches and operating system upgrades.
• Support new infrastructure projects.
• Conduct and document assessments of Service Component architectures and make recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize expertise in MBSE modeling tools like Cameo MagicDraw to help the Government with technical requirements and mission planning.
• Develop and analyze MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases to aid system-level verification planning.

Required Qualifications

Must currently hold an adjudicated TS/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain eligibility.
Must meet one of the following experience requirements:

• BA/BS + 7 years of recent specialized experience, or
• AA/AS + 9 years of recent specialized experience, or
• A major certification + 11 years of recent specialized experience, or
• 13 years of recent specialized experience.

SME in Enterprise Architect.
3 years of experience utilizing Digital Engineering Tools such as CAMEO EA.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• TOGAF 9.x certification
• ITIL v3 Foundation
• OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification or similar
• Experience working with Enterprise Architect (EA) tools
• Experience working in the DoD environment at a Combatant Command
• Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
• Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
