ERP Solution Architect - LN Industrial Manufacturing (m/f/d)

Job location: DACH region – office or home based.

The Solution Architect is responsible for proposing specific Infor solutions that fit within the customer’s business environment and objectives, addressing business problems and exploiting opportunities. They understand customer business drivers and current IT environment, ensuring solution feasibility and proposing a roadmap to realize the solution.

The Solution Architect is deployed operationally across multiple solution domains, utilizing broad knowledge of the Infor solution portfolio to identify components required to build the most appropriate solution. They typically work full‑time as part of the project delivery structure and have experience in at least one industry segment such as Distribution, Industrial Manufacturing, or Enterprise Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Applies extensive technical, application, and functional knowledge to larger, more complex projects.
• Undertakes implementation of complex and advanced configurations and technologies.
• Develops new delivery methods, tools, etc. to meet customer requirements.
• Works on important and unique problems where situational analysis or available data requires evaluation of diverse factors.
• Conducts independent evaluations of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired results and presents solutions within an industry context.
• Skilled at presenting to C‑level audiences, focusing on demonstrating business value rather than technical detail.
• Has knowledge and experience in the application of ERP (preferred LN) architecture engagement processes and tools.
• Ensures different solution pieces built by different teams are consistent.
• Knowledge of key standards for business processes, information models, and architectural models generally applied in the industry.
• Maintains awareness of IT industry architecture frameworks and approaches.
• Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of business drivers and typical customer needs within an industry.

What You Will Need

• Several years of industry experience implementing large‑scale ERP solutions as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
• Implementation experience across all business processes in logistics/SCM, production, and/or finance.
• Significant customer‑facing consulting experience.
• Reliability and deadline‑driven approach.
• Strong organizational skills and time‑management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills that effectively articulate complex ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team but also be self‑motivated.
• Team player with strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in the conception of customizations and interfaces.
• Experience guiding the creation of comprehensive test scenarios.
• Experience with cloud architecture.
• Experience in integration of different systems.
• Fluent in German and English – both mandatory.
• Willingness to travel nationally and throughout the DACH region.

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP LN projects as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
