As an ERP Specialist, you will serve as the operational backbone of our ERP system (Odoo), acting as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders. You’ll triage requests, handle functional configuration, perform system testing, and collaborate with ERP developers, testers, product owners, and analysts to ensure smooth delivery and support of our ERP operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, business processes and customer-facing support.
YOUR TASKSAct as the first-line support interface for ERP-related stakeholder requests, questions and incident reports.Independently perform system configurations in Odoo (e.g., pricing rules, field visibility, approval workflows).Conduct ERP onboarding and training sessions for new business users across departments.Maintain and regularly update user documentation, FAQs and knowledge base articles tailored to different teams.Support creating out of the box reports needs using Odoo native functionality.Work closely with the Business Analyst and POs to validate unclear or complex requests, identifying recurring issues for improvement.Filter and triage incoming Jira tickets/ requests, determining which items require escalation to Product Owners or Developers.Simulate scenarios in staging and test environments to find root causes before escalation.Collaborate with the Rotating Support Role to ensure accurate handoff of bugs and system performance issues.Proactively monitor ERP usage to identify misuse, training needs or potential improvements in business processes.Provide feedback to the System Architect and Product Owners regarding recurring usability challenges and potential configuration solutions.Act as a functional bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into system configuration tasks when possible.Support UAT coordination for configuration-driven changes and regression testing when needed.
YOUR PROFILESolid understanding of ERP systems, with hands-on experience in OdooDemonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders, including triaging issues, supporting GTM team and conducting rootcause analysisExperience in cross-functional collaboration with tech and business teamsStrong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solvingComfortable using Odoo staging/testing environments to simulate and validate workflowsFamiliarity with system configuration and troubleshooting in OdooProactive communicator who can clarify ambiguous input and think in business termsAttention to detail and curiosity to explore root causes of problemsFluent in English (written & verbal)Hands-on knowledge of quoting, billing or order management flowsComfortable working with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira)
