We are seeking you as Erste:r Maschinenführer:in Stopftechnik (w/m/d) for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at locations including Bad Hersfeld, Frankfurt (Main), Fulda, Gießen, Hanau, Kassel, Koblenz, or Mainz, starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage machines used in tamping technology at various construction sites.
• Lead and coordinate vacation planning for assigned machine operators.
• Assist with recording mobile time management within your area of responsibility.
• Perform maintenance work in the workshop, carry out repair needs, and ensure machine availability.
• Take on project responsibility for the defined construction execution.
• Coordinate construction schedules with the construction management and client.
• Handle site billing and working time documentation.
• Introduce and train new employees.

Your Profile:

• Hold a qualification as a construction machinery master, mechatronics master, IHK master in track construction, or have a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
• Have extensive experience working with tamping machines.
• First leadership experience is advantageous.
• Possess thorough knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines for railway operations and be willing to acquire necessary qualifications and permits.
• Be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and nights, and demonstrate team spirit, initiative, flexibility, commitment, and loyalty.
• Exhibit resilience, dedication, mobility, independence, and a sense of responsibility.
• Preferably, have completed training as a railway vehicle driver with appropriate licenses and certifications.
• Possess a valid Class B driving license and the necessary mobility.
