We are currently looking for you as an Erste:r Maschinenführer:in Stopftechnik (w/m/d) for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at locations including Bad Hersfeld, Frankfurt (Main), Fulda, Gießen, Hanau, Kassel, Koblenz, or Mainz.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage machines used in tamping technology at various construction sites.
• Lead and coordinate vacation planning for assigned machine operators.
• Assist in recording mobile time management within your area.
• Perform maintenance tasks in the workshop, carry out repair needs, and ensure machine availability.
• Take responsibility for the execution of assigned construction projects.
• Coordinate construction schedules with project management and clients.
• Handle billing and working time documentation on construction sites.
• Introduce and train new employees.

Your Profile:

• Certified as a construction machinery master, mechatronics master, IHK master in track construction, or with a comparable qualification and extensive professional experience.
• Several years of experience operating tamping machines.
• Experience in team leadership is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines for railway operations, with willingness to acquire necessary qualifications and permits.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and night shifts, with strong team spirit, initiative, flexibility, dedication, and loyalty.
• High resilience, commitment, mobility, independence, and sense of responsibility.
• Preferably, hold a railway vehicle driver license or similar qualification (Class A + B) with suitability and fitness.
• Possess a valid Class B driving license and the necessary mobility.
