Expansion Project Manager (f/m/d)

As a Project Engineer, you will lead the design and execution of a plant expansion project, translating lab-scale processes into industrial-scale production while ensuring technical, safety, and regulatory standards are met.

• Lead plant expansion projects from concept to execution, aligning with business and plant needs while managing scope, budget, and timelines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors, including procurement and contract administration
• Oversee engineering design and process scale-up, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with safety and quality standards
• Translate lab-scale processes into industrial-scale solutions and support plant design, commissioning, and validation
• Ensure regulatory and HSE compliance across all project phases, including conducting safety reviews and risk assessments
• Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer from R&D to operations and enabling scalable, efficient production

The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience

You bring 3+ years of hands-on project management experience, ideally in the food or process industry

You hold a degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Food, or a related field)

You keep projects on track, with experience in contract management, documentation, and project controls

Broad technical expertise across process development, plant and engineering design, and scale-up

You're flexible, collaborative, and thrive in fast-changing environments with cross-functional teams

You’re fluent in both English and German, making communication smooth across teams and partners
