Stellenbeschreibung:

We’re looking for a highly skilled headwear designer who not only brings creative flair to cap design – but also understands the technical requirements for production.

You must have solid experience with embroidery, screen printing, woven labels, rubber patches, sublimation, and the material constraints of headwear (e.g. mesh, foam front, suede, undervisor, closures etc.).

This is not just a graphic design job – we’re looking for someone who knows how to create production-ready designs that work on real caps.




What We Need:

• Create original and production-ready cap designs, including front, sides, back, and undervisor
• Design for different techniques: flat embroidery, 3D puff, patches, woven labels, direct print, rubber logos, etc.
• Suggest matching materials, thread types, closure styles (snapback, buckle, Velcro), and color combinations
• Prepare print- and embroidery-ready artwork, including vector files and separated layers/colors
• Deliver files in editable format, and ideally place them into a tech pack (PDF or AI)



Who You Are:

• Experienced in headwear, streetwear or fashion accessories design
• Deep understanding of embroidery limitations (stitch width, color separation, density, overlap etc.)
• Comfortable working with trucker caps, 5-panel, snapbacks, dad caps, foam fronts, etc.
• You have a solid portfolio showing actual production results, not just mockups
• Bonus if you’ve worked with factories or suppliers and understand what makes a design “factory-friendly”



Project Scope:

• Ongoing collaboration
• Start with 1 test design
• Then continue with 3–6 designs per month, depending on season and drop schedule
• Long-term goal is to develop small capsule collections or themes with consistent brand identity
• 80 USD per final design
