Experienced Java Software Engineer (f/m/*) - Enterprise SaaS Cloud

Talention, founded in Düsseldorf, Germany in 2014, is a SaaS recruiting solution provider with over 350 clients. We are a recognized leader in the online recruiting software market in Europe. To accelerate our growth, we are seeking full-time Java Enterprise Developers for our regions.

The Job

• Analysis, design, and conception of new feature architectures
• Independent development and support of major features
• Development of backend features using Java, Groovy, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Ensuring high software quality through test automation with JUnit, Selenium, JSUnit, and Jasmine
• Participating in sprint planning, implementation, and reviews

Required Technical Skills

• Strong logical thinking and Java OOP expertise
• Experience with Java JEE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RDBMS, and SQL
• Experience with Test Driven Development using JUnit, Selenium, Jasmine
• Commitment to high-quality, clean code, and adherence to design principles and enterprise patterns
• Version control experience with Git or similar tools

What Are We Looking For?

We offer positions at various levels: entry-level (2-3 years of experience), experienced (3-5+ years), and senior (10+ years).

General Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor, or Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, or IT Application Development
• Minimum of 2 years Java programming experience
• Excellent English skills (reading, writing, speaking); German skills are a plus but not required

Helpful Technical Skills

• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Participation in multiple software lifecycle projects

Personal Skills

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High motivation, creativity, and eagerness to learn
