We are looking for a dedicated and talented Experiential Spatial Designer (Architecture) (m/f/d) to join our team with employment or freelance options available. This role is ideal for a passionate and creative professional with a strong design sensibility, a creative mindset, and the ability to work effectively within an agile structure.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in experiential architecture and event design , with a deep understanding of both the creative vision and practical implications involved in bringing ideas to life.

Role Overview
We seek an experienced and visionary Experiential Spatial Designer to join our dynamic agency team. This role is perfect for a designer with a strong architectural background and a passion for creating immersive environments that connect with audiences through space, storytelling, and design.
You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative spatial concepts for events, brand experiences, festivals , and temporary architectural installations . Collaborating with the Spatial Design team and across creative and production teams, you'll help shape high-impact experiences from concept to realization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and original design concepts rooted in narrative and brand storytelling.
• Stay current with the latest trends in architecture, spatial design, and experiential architecture .
• Translate creative strategies into spatial solutions through sketches, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
• Conceptualize and design immersive, impactful, and memorable experiences through space for events, exhibitions, festivals, and brand activations.
• Work closely with the Creative and production teams to ensure design feasibility, material selection, and execution.
• Create presentation decks, drawings, and visual content that effectively communicate spatial ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain design quality, brand alignment, and ensure timely project delivery.

Ihr Profil

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in spatial design, architecture, or related fields, with a focus on experiential environments, events, and temporary structures .
- Proven ability to develop creative, story-driven, and innovative spatial concepts for complex, high-profile projects like events, brand activations, festivals, exhibitions, and immersive experiences.
- Strong understanding of experiential architecture , event production, and temporary build feasibility.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends in design, architecture, materials, and fabrication techniques .
- Strong skills in visual storytelling and presentation development , including mood boards, concept decks, and client visuals.
- Proficient in 3D modeling — Rhino and Enscape preferred.
- Experience with Autocad is a plus; Vectorworks highly valued.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams , including creative directors, strategists, producers, and technical suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus .
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of design integrity.
