Responsibilities

Take ownership of designing and implementing high‑quality software solutions in Scala/ Java from concept to deployment.
Shape key architecture decisions, balancing innovation, scalability and maintainability.
Build reusable and standardized components, helping create a clean, future‑proof technology ecosystem.
Continuously ensure and elevate software quality through testing, automation and code reviews.
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers and product owners in a self‑organized agile team.
Explore new languages, tools and frameworks, sharing learnings with the team.
Help grow a strong engineering culture built on trust, ownership and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

Expertise in Full Stack Development.
Strong hands‑on experience with Scala/Java, React and TypeScript.
Experience with backend frameworks such as Scala Play or Spring Boot and REST API design (OpenAPI/ Swagger).
Knowledge of SQL, CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes (a plus).
Passion for clean, performant, scalable code following industry best practices.
Curiosity to explore new technologies from cloud computing to modern backend ecosystems.
Strong communication skills in English (German a plus).
