Stellenbeschreibung:

Currently we are looking for a skilled developer (or small team) to build the MVP for a fantasy football commissioner app called League Legends.


The app will serve as an overlay/extension to existing fantasy platforms (Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper) and provide commissioners with tools to keep their leagues engaged.


The MVP will focus on:
• API Integration – Import league/matchup data from at least one platform (Sleeper preferred for MVP).
• Power Rankings Engine – Algorithm to generate weekly rankings based on customizable scoring (record, points, efficiency, luck).
• Weekly Recap Generator – Auto-generate text-based summaries of matchups (Game of the Week, blowouts, close calls).
• Shareable Reports – Export clean graphics (PNG) with rankings, awards, and recaps for sharing in group chats/social media.
• Commissioner Dashboard – Simple web-based UI to preview/edit content before sharing.


Future Phases (not in MVP but must be considered in architecture):
• Awards system (Top Scorer, Dumpster Fire, GM of the Week, etc.).
• Polls and voting features.
• AI-generated smack talk and memes (using LLM integration).
• League history archive.
• iOS/Android native apps.


Deliverables for MVP (3–4 months):
• Working web app (responsive for desktop & mobile).
• Commissioner login + ability to connect league (start with Sleeper).
• Weekly automated Power Rankings report + shareable graphic output.
• Basic deployment + documentation.


Skills Required:
• Strong experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL, ideally fantasy sports APIs).
• Backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar).
• Frontend (React/Next.js preferred).
• Database (Postgres, Firebase, or MongoDB).
• Experience generating/exporting graphics (Chart.js, D3.js, or image rendering libraries).
• Bonus: AI/NLP integration (for future features).
