What you’ll do

  • As Fertigungssteuerer at our production site in Allach, you will support and manage the economical and on-time manufacturing of components and assemblies for rail vehicles.
  • Plan and create manufacturing programs in SAP to meet high scheduling requirements and optimize capacity usage, including sequencing of manufacturing orders for your area and considering material availability.
  • Monitor short- and medium-term capacity and collaborate with interface partners to implement measures that smooth capacity peaks.
  • After developing the manufacturing program, you drive downstream processes.
  • During production, you take on scheduling control (and its documentation) and initiate corrective actions early if needed.
  • Maintain master data in our ERP system.
  • Contribute your ideas to further develop existing processes.

What you bring

  • Technical or business Bachelor degree with a focus on logistics.
  • Experience in production control or a closely related manufacturing area.
  • Alternatively, a technical or logistical apprenticeship with further qualification as technician or business economist and several years of experience in production planning.
  • Ideally experience with SAP (MM and PP) and proficient use of MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts with clear communication.
  • Process-oriented and analytical thinking.
  • Fluent German and good English.
