Field Applications Engineer (FAE) – North America

As an FAE, you are the bridge between product development groups and ADI’s key and strategic customers. Your primary goal is to satisfy ADI’s customers and help them achieve their desired goals. You will grow ADI revenue/opportunity pipeline, providing proactive technical support through concept, design and development phases of customer projects. Paired with a Sales Manager, you will form a field team that serves as the advocate and voice of your customers within ADI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre and post‑sales technical support for ADI’s Aerospace & Defence solutions
  • Collaborate with customers on system architecture design and system integration
  • Lead technical discussions, hands‑on demonstrations and technical training
  • Stay current with advancements in phased array and RF sensing solutions, translating new concepts into practical solutions for customer applications
  • Collaborate with ADI R&D and product teams to shape future product directions based on customer feedback and technology trends
  • Support solution deployment from initial design through field validation, ensuring robust performance and customer satisfaction

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong background in both hardware (schematic capture, simulation, prototyping) and software (embedded systems, digital signal processing)
  • Experience in RF circuit design, Power Design, Precision Analog
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership in customer‑facing technical roles
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time
