About the Opportunity:
Our client is a well-established, international machinery manufacturer with a strong reputation for engineering excellence. Being part of their growth in Germany, they are looking to expand their engineering team in the NRW region and are looking for a Field Service Engineer.


Role Overview:
You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing advanced industrial machinery at customer sites across Germany and Europe.


Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test machinery at client sites.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in line with schedules.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to feedback product insights.
• Prepare detailed service and visit reports.
• Travel within Germany and internationally (approx. 50%).


Candidate Profile

• Completed technical qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years' field service or similar technical role experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent in German with good English skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
