Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) of our foreign subsidiaries in Europe

Description of the Function

You are the technically competent contact person for our customers on site. You will independently take on the commissioning and process optimization of our systems and the associated components worldwide. Your tasks will also include instructing personnel on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and monitor commissioning
• Carry out commissioning for CPP's own products and other system components
• Develop commissioning programs and coordinate the necessary raw materials and auxiliary materials together with the customer
• Monitor the commissioning work based on existing commissioning and product instructions
• Implement extensive software changes for control systems
• Clarify any problems that arise with the head office and provide necessary error descriptions and analyses
• Record commissioning hours and obtain customer approval for them
• Document additional services
• Create documentation
• Prepare reports on the commissioning process and progress
• Prepare acceptance reports and protocols
• Repairs and inspections
• Implement simple repairs, inspections, and optimizations
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and quality guidelines
• Guide and instruct external and customer personnel
• Assign work
• Monitor the execution of work and check the results
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Profile

• Degree in engineering/process engineering or technician in mechatronics or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant position
• Knowledge of mechanics and process engineering
• Experience in building materials manufacturing companies and with at least one of the following product groups: silos, pneumatics, packers, palletizers, clinker coolers, gypsum, coal, and/or cement mills
• Experience in technical sales is desirable
• Experience in conveyor and process systems, silo pneumatics and packers, palletizers or grinding, and mechanics and process engineering is desirable
• Sound knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of project management in the area of project planning
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of technical data

• Willingness to travel worldwide (75% travel), willingness to spend extended periods abroad
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• International driver's license
• Very good written and spoken English skills (min. B2.1)
• Additional language skills are an advantage
