What You Will Do:

We are seeking a diligent finance professional to join our Munich-based team in a part-time capacity, offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced scale-up environment and can balance meticulous financial detail with the broader vision of the company's financial health.

  • Financial Stewardship: Support and eventually oversee the execution of financial transactions and maintain the integrity of our financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, providing strategic financial planning guidance.
  • Payroll Administration: Play a key role in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Financial Closure: Facilitate smooth and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Financial Administration: Handle preparatory accounting activities, including billing, invoicing, invoice posting, and bank transfers.
  • HR Administration & Operations: Support our growth by providing HR administrative support, creating HR documents (contracts, certificates), managing HR systems (e.g., Personio), and maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.

Your Profile:

  • Educational Background: Apprenticeship, Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Chartered Accountant Certification.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years in financial roles, especially in dynamic environments, with practical knowledge in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Datev and SAP, advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of tax laws, especially German tax regulations.
  • Operational Skills: Experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and data management abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in financial data handling.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and German for effective communication and compliance.
