Finance Analyst - Berlin

Our client, a fast-growing tech company in Berlin, is looking for a Finance Analyst to take ownership of their end-to-end finance operations. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence, optimising cash flow, and providing the financial insights that will fuel their ongoing growth across European markets.

Working alongside the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in building robust, scalable processes and driving strategic initiatives that will shape the company’s future.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage daily financial operations, including billing and subscription-based contracts.
• Oversee accounts receivables and payables, working with Sales and Customer Success teams to find the best solutions for both financial performance and client relationships.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve finance processes to support scaling and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic projects, such as financing, supplier negotiations, and potential M&A activities.


WHAT YOU BRING
• A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience (including internships) in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Fluency in English and German.


Bonus points for:
Experience with Datev, Pleo, Chargebee, SQL, or data visualisation tools such as Looker or PowerBI.
