What You Will Do:

We are seeking a diligent finance professional to join our Munich-based team in a part-time capacity, offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in a fast-paced scale-up environment and can balance meticulous financial detail with the broader vision of the company's financial health.

  • Financial Stewardship: Support and eventually oversee the precise execution of financial transactions and maintain the integrity of our financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Guide our adherence to tax regulations, ensuring compliance and strategic financial planning.
  • Payroll Administration: Play a key role in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for our workforce.
  • Financial Closure: Facilitate smooth and accurate closure of our books at month-end and year-end.
  • Financial Administration: Handle preparatory accounting tasks, including billing, invoicing, invoice posting, and bank transfers.
  • HR Administration & Operations: Contribute to growth initiatives by providing essential HR administrative support, creating detailed HR documents (contracts, certificates), and managing HR systems (Personio), while maintaining confidentiality and data privacy.

Your Profile:

  • Educational Foundation: Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Chartered Accountant Certification.
  • Professional Experience: Over 3 years in financial roles, especially in dynamic business environments, with practical knowledge in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in accounting software such as Datev and SAP, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of tax regulations, especially German tax law.
  • Operational Skills: Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll processes, and managing the general ledger during closings.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing complex financial data.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in financial data management.
  • Organizational Prowess: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German.
