About The Role

Forto is looking to appoint an exceptionally talented Finance Business Partner for its trade & operations finance function to join an already highly accomplished team. The role sits in the Finance department reporting to a senior finance manager. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands‑on Finance person who can help to bring step change to the trade & operations finance department. This is a fascinating point at which to join a successful business, a strong brand, and IPO ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational steering, reporting and analysis of operational KPIs/business cases
• Financial modeling and ROI estimates of business initiatives and support decision making process with research, data and analysis
• Facilitate operational reviews and controlling of operational & trade organization
• Identify and promote new innovative ideas and challenge established practices, defend your thesis in front of the senior management of operations and finance teams

Required Skills And Experience

• 0-2 years of previous work experience in similar financial, analytics or commercial or operations finance role
• A solutions oriented analytical mindset, strong business judgment, forward thinking, innovative, continuous improvement mindset
• Detail oriented with the ability to keep an eye on the big picture
• Ability to translate strategic concepts into numbers
• Proficiency in handling data – spreadsheets, financial modeling, dashboards; SQL is a must
• Entrepreneurial thinker with hands‑on mentality and the ability to remain agile in a continuously changing environment
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Proficient German is a plus, not must-have
