The RoleOur client is searching for an experienced Solo-Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance operations in Germany. This is an opportunity build and refine accounting processes, work closely with international teams, and contribute to global projects as the company scales. The role offers a blend of hands-on accounting, process improvement, and strategic collaboration. You’ll be the key point of contact for external accounting partners, auditors, and internationally based Founders, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance while driving operational efficiency. This role is mostly office-based and would suit someone in close proximity to central Munich. Key ResponsibilitiesManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processesReview documentation and ensure accurate bookkeepingConduct bank reconciliations and journal entriesOversee Accounts Receivable and cash flow managementPrepare financial statements and management reportsServe as the main contact for external accounting and tax advisorsCoordinate documentation for VAT and tax filingsSupport treasury functions and vendor paymentsContribute to global finance improvement projects What we're looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrior experience as Finance Lead / Sole Finance Manager within a small businessStrong understanding of German GAAPFluency in English Nice to Have (Strongly Desirable) Available to begin on or before January 1st 2026Experience in the b2b SaaS industry At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
