Stellenbeschreibung:

I’m looking for a reliable Finance VA / Accountant with experience in German tax systems who can help me close all open loops and keep my finances in order going forward.

You should be comfortable handling both Einzelunternehmen and UG tasks, and ideally be able to take responsibility from start to finish, not just execution, but also making sure nothing slips through the cracks.



Responsibilities
• Manage Jahresabschlüsse for Einzelunternehmen and UGs
• Prepare and file Umsatzsteuererklärung (quarterly & annual)
• Use Elster and WISO Steuer to prepare filings
• Bookkeeping and financial organization in SevDesk
• Coordinate with Steuerberater if needed
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and reduce my personal workload to near-zero



Requirements
• Proven experience with German tax/accounting (please provide examples)
• Strong knowledge of Elster, WISO Steuer, and SevDesk
• Familiarity with both Einzelunternehmen and UG structures
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive (I want someone who closes loops, not creates more)
• Good communication in German (English optional, but German is a must for tax)



Nice to Have
• Experience working as a VA with entrepreneurs/freelancers
• Knowledge of VAT treatment for international expenses/income
• Ability to suggest optimizations and improvements
