Financial Controller

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a strong background in services or the financial services industry


• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a multinational or complex organization


• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, with a deep understanding of IFRS


• Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams, as well as managing third-party providers and advisors


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights


• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement


• Experience in implementing finance-related technology and leading change initiatives is highly desirable

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt, Germany. The company is an International services business. As the Country Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our extensive portfolio of services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization, which has a strong presence in the German market. Reporting into the Group Finance FD/FC you will be responsible for Financial Reporting and Control, Third-party and Team Management, Planning and Analysis, Business Partnering, and Business Project Support. This role is a good and balanced mix of financial accounting and commercial finance.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany - Hybrid

Salary: € 120 000 – 140 000
