Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Ensure compliance with HGB and US GAAP, national and international financial regulations and standards.
• Perform periodic account reconciliations.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Optimize processes, ERP flows and financial reporting tools including process improvements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of German HGB accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Power BI Dynamics).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
