Overview

Flutter Developer for Medical Apps (w/m/d)

We’re looking for a Flutter Developer who loves building high-quality, user-friendly mobile apps in the medical field. You’ll develop software that makes a measurable impact on the health of patients – with real-world impact proven in clinical studies.

Responsibilities

  • In teams of 3 to 6 other developers, implement intuitive user interfaces, ensure smooth performance across platforms, and collaborate closely on architecture, state management, and app integration with backend systems.

We’re a team of 30 people based in Munich developing mobile apps & web applications for customers in the area of medicine and healthcare. QuickBird Medical is certified for medical software development (ISO 13485 & ISO 27001). We count renowned companies such as Roche, Fresenius, Novartis, Techniker Krankenkasse, DAK, Barmer, and Charité among our customers.

Technical Infos

  • Developers at QuickBird highly value state-of-the-art software engineering practices. The company was founded by two developers; this spirit is part of our DNA.
  • Riverpod is our primary state management solution; other architectural approaches are considered for specific use cases.
  • You will usually work on new apps rather than maintaining long-standing code bases.

About you

  • At least 1 year of experience with Flutter development. We are open to different seniority levels and adjust the compensation accordingly.
  • Up-to-date with current Flutter development trends
  • Developed at least one Flutter app from scratch
  • Willing to help teammates and learn from them
  • Interested to learn a lot about the healthcare area from our internal experts
  • Enjoy writing reliable, secure, and maintainable code
  • Open to new ideas, architectures, and workflows; value code reviews and critical thinking
  • Willing to come to our office at least once or twice a week (the rest can be done remotely)
