Role Overview
Join us as a founding engineer to build the core technology that will revolutionize how architects, engineers, and construction professionals plan, design, and execute projects. You'll work directly with the founding team and customers to create scalable AI systems and intuitive design tools.

As we grow, we expect this role to evolve into a technical leadership position. You'll take increasing ownership of architecture decisions and have the opportunity to lead and build an engineering team as we scale.


Key Responsibilities
• Own the architecture: design and evolve our AI‑powered, serverless platform for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Mature the product: lead the journey from MVP to a robust, enterprise‑grade application used on mission-critical construction projects.
• Ship across the stack: contribute hands‑on code in TypeScript/Remix and AWS, delivering customer-impacting features every sprint.
• Shape product strategy: collaborate with founders to translate customer pain into a technical roadmap and pioneer innovation in construction AI.
• Establish engineering excellence: set up CI/CD, testing, and coding standards while mentoring future teammates.


You’ll Succeed With
• 4+ years building & shipping production software.
• Strong TypeScript or modern typed language (Go, Rust, etc.)
• Cloud-native development experience
• Thrives in high ambiguity, 0→1 environments
• Hybrid Stuttgart Area (min. 50% office presence)
• Fluent English

• Customer-obsessed: fast iteration, talk to users, measure impact
• AWS serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, etc)
• Data engineering: ETL, vector DBs, document extraction
• Production ML/AI systems: data pipelines, model serving, RAG
• German proficiency
• BIM/CAD experience
