Signal Edge is developing next-generation sensing systems that deliver real-time awareness and protection without relying on cameras or wearables. Our mission is to redefine how technologies safeguard people, infrastructure, and borders.




We’re seeking a Fractional CTO who can bring senior-level technical leadership to guide our product development and technology strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on shaping frontier technologies, but prefers flexible, part-time engagement.



What you’ll do:
• Set the technical direction and oversee the roadmap from MVP to deployment.
• Advise on system architecture, security, and scalability.
• Mentor a distributed engineering team and review technical work.
• Contribute to IP strategy and technical due diligence for fundraising and partnerships.
• Support founders with critical technical decisions while keeping hands-on involvement light.


What we’re looking for:
• Experience in one or more of: sensing technologies, AI/ML, secure systems, or hardware/software integration.
• A track record of building or scaling complex tech, ideally in dual-use or security sectors.
• Ability to distill complexity into clear guidance and decisive technical direction.
• Availability of ~10–20 hours per month, with flexibility for critical milestones.
