Job Description


We are running an ERPNext / Frappe instance behind Nginx with SSL enabled. Currently, accessing the site via https://crm.sternberg-consulting.com:8000 results in the error SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG.


We need an experienced DevOps / System Administrator with knowledge in:
• Nginx reverse proxy and SSL/TLS configuration (Let’s Encrypt certificates)
• ERPNext / Frappe Bench setup and site configuration
• Debugging HTTPS/port issues (correctly routing traffic from port 443 instead of 8000)


Task:
• Diagnose and fix the SSL configuration issue so the site is accessible securely via https://crm.sternberg-consulting.com without port suffixes.
• Ensure ERPNext/Frappe works properly behind the reverse proxy.
• Provide short documentation of the fix.
